Welcome to The League

Welcome to the League of Agricultural and Equine Centers web site and thank you for visiting!

The League represents Equestrian facilities in the United States and Canada and continues to grow each year! The League offers a comprehensive educational component for Facility Directors covering regulatory, judicial, insurance, human resources, maintenance, environment, financial and marketing expertise. The Annual League Symposium brings Facility Directors and their staff from all over North America to engage in some of the educational topics listed in a three day structured educational format. The League, in conjunction with Middle Tennessee State University, offers the industry’s only Facility Director certification program! The Certified Manager of Equine Centers ( CMEC ) is a program that recognizes Directors who have attained the highest level of standards in the profession of Equine Facility Management.

League Footing Academies are presented twice yearly for facility Directors and staff to learn the basics and particulars of footing. These League Footing Academies are available in conjunction with the Annual Symposium and a second location during the summer months. The League offers industry publications for our members, including our most recent publication of Arena Footing.

The League is a progressive organization that continues to move forward in identifying issues and resources for Equine and Agricultural facility directors as we move further into the 21st century.

On behalf of the League Board of Directors and staff, we hope you will join us and take advantage of all of the services the League provides.
